“Who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” (John Cotton Dana)
This is a motto I strongly believe in and which best defines me as an English trainer. I love learning about the English language and keeping up-to-date with the latest methods and practices in teaching it. That’s why I try to attend regularly conferences and courses which help me grow and develop, and not only as a trainer, but also on a personal level. And though sometimes it may cost an arm and a leg to participate to these professional development programmes abroad, it is definitely money worth invested!
Three weeks ago I attended my second IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) conference, in Brighton this time. And again, after a hectic week in the realm of English language teaching and learning, I came back so energised and inspired! And full of new input and ideas to apply in my own teaching! The conference has brought me into contact with lots of ELT professionals from all around the world, and broadened my perspective on good EFL teaching practice.
Happy to have received and shared best practices in English teaching. Great teachers never stop learning.
My JOB is my PASSION!
